According to the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, WKYC, a Sandusky mother is facing a child endangering charge after her son's father reported her to police.  

Earlier this week, authorities began investigating after the victim's father reported that he'd received a photo of his son showing the child's eyes and mouth duct-taped shut.

The mother told investigators that she and her son were just joking, but police still filed a report with Children Services and the county prosecutor.

It was then that charges were filed.

The mother's name has not been released and as of Wednesday afternoon there wasno female inmates at the Erie County Jail that were only facing a child endangering charge.
