TOLEDO -- Toledo police have made an arrest in the murder of a Toledo woman found dead inside her West Toledo apartment.
Police say they've arrested 46 year old James M. Day Sr. in the murder of 49 year old Joan Watson.
Sunday morning, police responded to a call from a neighbor of Watson saying she was dead. When officers arrived, they found Watson in what they say appeared she was assaulted and stabbed, but add they don't know the cause of her death.
There have been reports Watson's body was mutilated. Police have not confirmed whether those reports are true.
