The WNWO Weather Team is monitoring a developing weather situation for this afternoon and evening.

The Storm Prediciton Center has placed all of SE Michigan and NW Ohio under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11pm this evening.

Damaging winds to 65 mph, large hail to 1.5" in diameter are the primary threats for our area.

Reminder...a Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.  Be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions.
