Sounding the global warming alarm

In just a few years it is predicted that global warming will lead to rises in sea levels that will decimate coastal towns and cities the world over.  Reports from ecologists, fishermen and seal hunters site a lack of sea ice, seals and species of fish and a warmer eastern

Arctic Ocean portend a radical change in climate conditions that will spell a mass and rapid melting of sea and glacial ice. That melt would produce dangerous sea level rises which will likely make many coastal cities uninhabitable.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the article I am gathering this information from first ran in the Washington Post on November 2, 1922.  The article was sourced by the Post from a study penned by Consul Ifft in Bergen, Norway.  You can read the original text from 1922 in the Monthly Weather Review
