Unlike the last storm to move through the area...we know one thing for certain with the next one.  It will be an all-snow event.

A medium-strength "Alberta Clipper" type of storm is moving southeast out of the Dakota...and another area of low pressure is intensifying over the central U.S.

These two will merge over the Ohio River Valley Tuesday...placing Western and Northwestern Ohio in a favorable position for snow.

But some will get more than others.

For the Toledo area...this won't be much of a storm.  Waking up Wednesday morning, Toledo residents might only see an inch or so of snow.  And people north of the border into Michigan will see maybe a dusting.

But small distances south and southwest of Toledo will make big differences in the amount of snow that accumulates.

In fact...some areas around towns like Van Wert, Ottawa, Findlay and Upper Sandusky could see as much as 6" or more of the white stuff by the time the sun comes up Wednesday.

As always...the disclaimer:  "Small changes in track and intensity will mean big swings in where the measureable amounts begin...and where the highest amounts fall".

The WNWO Weather Team continues to dig through all of the available data and will be pushing updates on Facebook, Twitter, and here at www.northwestohio.com as conditions change.
