WHITEHOUSE, OHIO --

As part of the Live United program from the United Way, WNWO employees went to Camp Courageous to help get them ready for the fall.

WNWO employees worked hard pulling weeds and laying mulch in the garden area of the camp. We had a chance to see some of their last harvest from the garden which included tomatoes, peppers and herbs. We also helped put a large protective cover on their in ground swimming pool.

WNWO Meteorologist Jon James was on hand to help with the garden. "It was nice to finally see the place. I can't wait to go back to see the fruits of our labor," he said.

The United Way Live United program is going on all this week. There are 43 companies with more than 1500 employees donating time and effort to local organizations.
