Rogers Rams hold off Bees in OT to win regional final

TOLEDO, OH -- The Rogers Rams held off Brecksville-Broadview Heights 63-61 in overtime to win the Akron/Toledo regional crown Saturday at Savage Arena.

Tony Kynard led the way for the Rams with 20 points and two steals. DeVonte Pratt added 18 points and Clemmye Owens finished with 14 points. Rogers out rebounded Brecksville-Broadview Heights 40-26 but the Bees were on fire from beyond the arc, shooting 11 of 24 (45.8%) from three point land.

Rogers will face third ranked Cincinnati Walnut Hills (27-1) in the state semifinals 8:30pm Friday night at the Schottenstein Center.
