BEREA, Ohio (AP) - Browns tight end Benjamin Watson called the vicious hits that Pittsburgh's James Harrison made on two Cleveland wide receivers "illegal" and said the NFL should come down hard on the Steelers linebacker.

Browns coach Eric Mangini said Joshua Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi both sustained concussions from the violent helmet-to-helmet hits delivered by Harrison in Sunday's game. Harrison was not penalized on either play, and afterward said he was just doing his job.

Watson feels the league should discipline Harrison.

"I hope the NFL does the max, whatever the max is, I hope they give it to him," Watson said Monday.

Told the league is considering suspensions for helmet-to-helmet hits, Mangini said he will support whatever will help players' safety.
