Central Catholic completes comeback against Whitmer

TOLEDO -- It took Central Catholic three games to beat Whitmer but they did it when it mattered most, in the playoffs. Whitmer led the Irish 24-16 at halftime but it was all green in the 2nd half.

Central Catholic spread the scoring around, DeShone Kizer, Deontae Cole and Jermiah Braswell and had 6 points. CJ Bussey had 8 while Keith Towbridge led the way with 9 points and 11 boards.

Nigel Hayes had a game high 14 whil Chris Parker, Ricardo Smith and Nate Holley all had 8.

Central Catholic will face Rogers Saturday night in the division I district finals at Savage Arena at 7:00.
