Therese is the weekend sports anchor for WNWO.

FREMONT, OH -- The Whitmer boys basketball team defeated Fremont Ross 69-44 Friday.

Ricardo Smith led the Panthers with 21 points. Whitmer finishes in second place in the TRAC behind St. John's Jesuit.

Whitmer improves to 17-5 overall as the team heads into the postseason.
