UT suffers first MAC loss

TOLEDO -- The Toledo women's basketball team hosted Central Michigan Thursday night for their MAC home opener, unfortunatley it ended with a 73-66 loss.

Star point Guard, Naama Shafir, found herself on the bench for much of the second half due to foul trouble. Shafir finished with 11 points in just 26 minutes.

The Rockets were led by Inma Zanoguera as she posted a team high 19 points.

Toledo travels to BGSU Sunday afternoon for a MAC rival game.
