Toledo locks up second home win

TOLEDO, OH -- Toledo returned from a three-week break to win 74-55 over UIC Saturday. The win was the Rockets' second straight victory.

Rian Pearson led the Rockets with 24 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Reese Holliday added 16 points off the bench for UT. Nathan Boothe added 10 points and seven rebounds and a career-high four blocks.

The Rockets return to action on Monday, Dec. 31 with a home matinee vs. Chicago State. Tip-off time is set for 1:00 p.m.
