MANSFIELD, OH -- The Whitmer Panthers stunned the number one seed Massillon Washington 49-16 Saturday night to advance to the final four of the OHSAA Division I state football finals.

The Panthers finished the night with 137 passing yards, 272 rushing yards, and 409 total yards on offense. Tre Sterrit led the Whitmer charge with three rushing touchdowns. MeGail Frisch rounded out the ground attack with two rushing touchdowns as well.

Whitmer will play Saturday, November 24th for the state Division I semifinal.
