Tod Kowalczyk says his UT Rockets are "excited" about playing in theCollege Insider.com Tournament.

It showed in the second half of Tuesday night's 76-63 win against McNeese St..

The Rockets shook off a sloppy first half and looked energized in the second stanza as they ran past a Cowboy squad in need of motivation.

UT let a 14 point lead nearly disintegrate in the final four minutes of the first half, going into the break only up two.

However in the second half, Toledo shot 77.8% from the field and had the Cowboys looking for nearest covered wagon out of the Glass City.

MAC freshman of the year, Julius 'Juice' Brown had 15 points and 11 assists in 36 minutes for the Rockets.

"We just love playing basketball," said Brown.  "We want to continue to play but we're also trying to get better each and every day."

Coach Tod Kowalczyk believes that is exactly what's happening.

"This team genuinely likes each other," said Kowalczyk.  "Our team chemistry off the court is very good.  Their team chemistry on the court is starting to come together.  They don't want this to end."

Since there are no seeds in the C.I.T., the Rockets must now wait to find out whom and where they will play in the second round.
