BGSU moves into 1st place tie in MAC East
BOWLING GREEN, OH -- The Bowling Green Falcons notched a big MAC win beating Akron 74-61 to move into a tie with the Zips atop the MAC’s East Division.
Senior Chrissy Steffen led the Falcons with 17 points, nine boards and three steals. Alexis Rogers finished with a double-double, 16 points and 12 rebounds while Danielle Havel contributed 13 points.
The Falcons hit will hit the road to play at Miami Saturday. BGSU improves to 17-8 overall, 8-4 in MAC action.
