Rams route Irish for district title

TOLEDO, OH -- Rogers' boys basketball team defeated Central Catholic 60-39 to win the Division I district final at Savage Arena Saturday.

Tony Kynard led the Rams with 20 points and Clemmye Owens added 18. Rogers was 26 of 50 from the field and forced the Irish to commit 13 turnovers.

Rogers will face Northern Lakes League champion Anthony Wayne for the regional semifinal Thursday 7pm at Savage Arena.
