Prom season is on its way, which means high school girls are now searching for beautiful gowns for their special night.

Planned Pethood is hosting their Prom for Paws event Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Salvatore Capelli Salon in Perrysburg.

For a $5 entrance fee, shoppers can go through and try on a wide array of prom dresses that have been donated by the community. All prom dresses are priced at or below $25.

All of the proceeds are going to help Planned Pethood find homes for needy dogs and cats.
