Chilly weekend on tap...
After hanging around for three days and delivering a little bit of everything weather-wise, the big upper level storm system which encompasses the eastern third of the nation finally is poised to loosen it's grip on the Great Lakes and move into New England. Good ridence right? Light snow showers this morning will decrease in areal coverage this afternoon. Clouds will continue to stream in from the north with highs in the mid 30's.
Overnight the clouds hang tough and lows bottom out in the mid 20's. We kick off the weekend tomorrow with a couple of stray flurries before clouds begin to thin Friday afternoon. It will be cooler with highs in the lower 30's.
For the weekend we will finally see some sunshine break out - but it will be chilly with lows in the teens and high temps not getting out of the 20's. Saturday offers partly sunny skies with Sunday being the "pick of the weekend" weather-wise with mostly sunny skies.
Another storm heads our way early next week with a wintery mix of precipitation moving in late Tuesday.
