BOWLING GREEN -- Legendary musician Bob Dylan is making his way back to northwest Ohio, this time to help raise money for the American Red Cross.

The music icon will perform at Bowling Green State University's Stroh Center on Sunday, April 21.

Proceeds from Tangled up in RED: An Evening with Bob Dylan will go to the American Red Cross Northwest Ohio Region and help fund disaster preparedness, disaster relief, recovery assistance, support for military members and their families, and health and safety training.

Dylan's last visit to northwest Ohio was in August of 2011 when he performed at the Toledo Zoo. Some of the rocker's well-known songs include "Like A Rolling Stone", "Blowin' in the Wind", and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door."

Los Angeles-based folk-rock band Dawes will open for Dylan beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at the Stroh Center box office and at ticketmaster.com. Student tickets are $25. VIP tickets ($125 each) are available through the Red Cross at 419-329-2573.
