BGSU's Chauncey Orr led all scorers with 16 points

BOWLING GREEN, OH -- The Bowling Green State men’s basketball team struggled get its offense going tonight as the Akron Zips defeated the Falcons 68-55 Wednesday night.
Akron’s defense held BGSU to 18.5% from the field in the first half and trailed 28-17 at the break, but the Flacons did cut into the lead in the second half.
Chauncey Orr led all scorers with 16 points and Craig Sealey added a season-high 10 points off the bench.
Akron improves to 16-4 with the win and extend its win streak to 12 games. Bowling Green falls to 7-13 overall and 2-5 in the conference. The Falcons will stay home to host Ball State Saturday at 2 p.m.
