BOWLING GREEN, OH -- The Bowling Green State women's basketball team routed Ball State 73-42 Wednesday. The Falcons defense held Ball State without a field goal for nearly 12 minutes at the start of the game and did not allow the Cardinals to get closer than 15 points after the first 23 points of the game.

Junior Alexis Rogers led all scorers with 17 points. Allison Papenfuss finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 11-5 on the season and are now 2-1 in MAC play.
