FINDLAY -- Warm temperatures on Saturday may have been a sweet treat to many people, but the warm-up has lead to a big and fast melt of the snow.

People in Findlay are keeping a close eye on the Blanchard River.

The National Weather Service says there's serious potential for the river to flood.

On Saturday, the river level was at 9.5 feet. That places the Blanchard River firmly in the Action stage. Flood stage is at 11 feet which could happen by Monday morning at 7.
