BOWLING GREEN, OH -- The Bowling Green Falcons women's basketball team opened up conference play with a 69-33 win over Kent State Thursday. BGSU's Deborah Hoekstra and Katrina Salinas led the team with 12 point each. Allison Papenfuss also logged 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals for the Falcons.

BGSU improves to 10-4 on the season, 1-0 in MAC play. Falcons will face the UT Rockets Sunday, January 13th.  Tip off is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Stroh Center.
