PERRYSBURG, OH -- Detroit Tigers skipper Jim Leyland was back at his old stoming grounds at Perrysburg high school Wednesday. Leyland was back in town for the dedication ceremony of the new baseball field located at Perrysburg high school.

The new stadium has been named the Jim Leyland Family Field. It replaces the field at Perrysburg junior high school, which was located right next to I-75, so the team wont be hitting baseballs into the interstate anymore.

Leyland and his family gave $100,000 to help the project. The new field will be ready for games this April.
