TOLEDO -- Nigel Hayes finally signed the piece of paper that gaurantees he will play for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Hayes made a verbal commitment to Madison a few months ago, but it became official on Thursday.

Hayes is just shy of a thousand points in his career at Whitmer and has been named the teams MVP three times. He also ranks 10th in the classroom out of 528 classmates.

His teammate, Ricardo Smith, who was named 2nd team all TRAC last season signed to play at Findlay.

Not on land but in the sea, Kristen Filby signed to swim at Bowling Green. Filby has been first team all league every season as a Panther.
