The Underrated Whitmer Panthers

Therese is the weekend sports anchor for WNWO.

TOLEDO, OH -- Since the start of the 2012 high school football season, the Whitmer Panthers have been labeled the underdogs. Many thought having a new head coach, a new system, and losing several key players from last years team, Whitmer wouldn't be able to produce the same success as the previous two seasons.

The Panthers embraced the odds against them and banded together. For this week's Friday Night Frenzy Extra Point, we get to know the 2012 Whitmer Panthers on the prowl for a state title.
