TOLEDO, OH -- University of Toledo's junior quarterback Terrance Owens was named the MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 34-31 victory over Wyoming on Saturday.

Owens completed 25-of-41 passes for 300 yards and four TDs. Owens also carried the ball 14 times for a career-high 74 yards. With that kind of performance, Owens has made quite the case for himself in this quarterback dilemma.

Coach Matt Campbell acknowledged Owens has the hot hand and said if all is equal this week between Owens and Austin Dantin, then Terrance will be the starter again come Saturday. "We will leave it up to competition throughout the week, but expecting if all stayed the same Terrance would start the game this week again."
