TOLEDO, OH -- Losing the last two games of the 2011 season gave the Bowsher Rebels motivation and fuel for this preseason. The Rebels wrap preseason Friday with a scrimmage against Northview.
The Rebels only two returning starters are linemen, but head coach Craig Lubinski has faith in his young squad to win the Toledo City League title. After the preseason, coach Lubinski was happy to see many of the younger players step up and the team's cohesion solidify.
The Bowsher Rebels kick off the 2012 season against Perrysburg High School Friday, August 24 at 7pm.
