SYLVANIA -- There is no joking around when it comes to concussions in sports, especially on the gridiron.

That's what brought former Michigan head coach, Lloyd Carr, to Sylvania on Wednesday. Carr was one of the featured speakers at Hometown Huddle, a free sports safety clinic put on by Promedica at Lourde's University's Franciscan Center.

Local elementary and high schools coaches, trainers, athletic directors, parents and student athletes were in attendance. Information was provided on everything from sports injury prevention and treatment to concussions and hydration.
