The Toledo and Bowling Green baseball teams scored a combined 37 runs in their first two games of their weekend series, both games the Rockets came out the victors. Today the teams met for a final game, a game Toledo needed to win to stay a game up on Central Michigan in the West standings as the season winds down.

Bowling Green was up 1-0 in the seventh when UT's Dan Zuchowski delivers to tie the game up at one.  The game would stay tied in the through ten innings.  In the eleventh, Ben Hammer connects to score Joe Corfman to put the Rockets up 2-1 going into the bottom of the eleventh.

Tyler Wynn comes to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs, every child's dream, with a chance to be the hero.  Wynn blasts one to the warning track, only to be robbed by a diving Tyler Grogg, sealing the game and the sweep for Toledo. Rockets win 2-1.
