The Friday Night Frenzy is less than 24 hours away but a busy Thursday night of high school basketball in our area.

In girl's hoops, the Notre Dame Eagles moved to 10-0 in Three Rivers Athletic Conference play with a 77-45 win over St. Ursula.

The top two teams in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference met with Ottawa Hills beating Toledo Christian 55-44.

TC's Camille Gist led all scorers with 20 points but it was not enough to prevent the Green Bears from moving to 11-0 in conference play.

Ottawa Hills was led by Hayley Jarecki's 19 points. 

It was Jarecki's first game back after injuries have sidelined her for nearly half the season.

"I was really excited to come back," said Jarecki.  "My Adrenalin was pumping, I was ready to go."

Ottawa HIlls now has a two game lead in the TAAC with three confernce games to play.

Liberty-Benton was ranked second in the state in Division III and undefeated until earlier this week, losing by double-digits to Lima Bath.

On Thursday, the Eagles found themselves trailing by six in the fourth quarter at McComb, only to go on a 16-0 run and beat the Panthers, 47-39.

Rachel Myers led L-B with 18 points, Caite Craft had 15.

In boy's action, it took overtime but Hopewell Loudon defeated North Baltimore 57-53.
