It was a battle of two of the best girls basketball teams in the state of Ohio on Tuesday, but you wouldn't know it by the looking at the final score.

Arlington, tied for #6 in Division IV, dominated #2 New Riegel on the road, 67-38.

Senior Amelia Recker once again paced the Red Devils with 29 points, becoming the schools all-time scoring leader with 1333 for her career, but for her, the night was all about the victory.

"I was more thinking about beating the #2 team in the state. I don't really care about what my personal goals are, It's more about the team and it just happened to be tonight," Recker said.

With the win, Arlington improves to 14-1 on the season. New Riegel drops to 13-1.

Not too far from New Riegel, the Hopewell-Loudon girls edged Elmwood 52-51 in an interconference matchup.
