BOWLING GREEN -- Just like they did in last year's MAC championship, the BGSU women's basketball team came out victorious against Eastern Michigan on Sunday.

Sophomore Alexis Rogers led the way with a career high 30 points, as the Falcons built a 22 point second half lead, en route to a 70-54 win.

The victory was also the 250th of head coach Curt Miller's career, and he was in rare form. With just over six minutes remaining in the game, Miller went ballistic on the sidelines, tossing his coat and picking up a technical foul. He got so worked up that he was unable to attend the post game press conference.

"He...got a little light headed. Obviously everybody in the arena saw the technical happen, so he got good elevation when he took his coat off. I think when he did that it was just a little bit of a head rush...It's nothing to be concerned with, he's just going to get checked out...so that's whey I'm here right now," said associate head coach Jennifer Roos.

BG improved to 16-3 on the season and remained the only team without a loss in the MAC (6-0). Eastern dropped to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in the MAC. Norhtview's Olivia Fouty had four points and two rebounds for the Eagles.

The UT women (11-7, 4-2) dominated Ohio in Athens, winning 52-33. Start's Yolanda Richardson had 18 points, 15 boards, and six blocks.
