College and high school hoops dominate Saturday

Behind 21 points from Dominique Buckley, the Toledo Rockets men's basketball team snapped a two game losing streak, topping Youngstown State 86-77.

The BGSU men put up a fight against Michigan State, tying the game in the second half, before falling 74-60.

At Owens the men and women swept Lake Michigan. The ladies took the early contest 68-60 and the men won 90-73 in the second half of the doubleheader behind 29 points from Justin Edmons and 24 from James Kelly.

In high school hoops action, new NLL member Napoleon defeated Bowling Green on the road 68-56, Anthony Wayne defeated Springfield 52-40, and Perrysburg defeated Southview 47-37.
