Two number one ranked teams were playing in the regional semi-finals on Wednesday night and only one would survive.

The top-ranked and undefeated Perrysburg girl's soccer team fell 1-0 to Northern Lakes League rival, Northview at BGSU.

However, the number one ranked St. Ursula volleyball team had little trouble in their match against Avon Lake, winning 3-0.

The news is just as good for St. Ursula's soccer team, who won 1-0 over Archbishop Hoban.

Other teams advancing to the regional semi-final's; Archbold's girl's soccer team overcame a one goal deficit to win 3-2 over Lima CC and Findlay's volleyball team won 3-1 over Bishop Watterson.

Northview vs Wadsworth at Sandusky HS, noon

Archbold vs Creston Norwayn/Ontario winner at TBA, noon
