GIBSONBURG, OH -- Twelve year old Parker Inks of Fremont has battled Muscular Dystrophy since birth.  That has not stopped his love of football, specifically Fremont St. Joeseph's, or his will to give to others.

In 2008 the foundation Parker's Purpose was started after Parker came down with pneumonia and had to be permanently placed with a trach and ventilator.  Fundraisers were started for the Inks family and since then they've made it their mission to provide financial help to families of ill or disabled children through fundraisers.

Parker was on hand Friday at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed in Gibsonburg as a silent auction was held featuring many prizes.  One of which was the chance to sit with the keynote speaker at the event, 1991 Heisman Trophy winner and Michigan alum Desmond Howard.
