Clay varsity athlete breaks neck in tournament play

A Clay High School student is listed in critical condition after suffering severe injuries in a hockey game Sunday.

Clay varsity hockey player, Kyle Cannon, as seriously injured during play against Lexington High School (Kentucky) in a Dayton tournament.  The team was competing in the Beavercreek Tournament in Dayton, Ohio.

Cannon is said to have broken his neck in the incident and remains in critcial but stable condition at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
