Accumulations in the cards for Saturday

Winter is back after a brief warm-up for, fittingly, Valentine's Day.  Cold air invaded overnight and will stick around through the weekend.

Skies will be partly sunny today and some of those clouds will deliver isolated flurries and light snow showers.  Temps will not climb much, averaging about five degrees below normal - in the lower 30's.

Overnight skies will be partly cloudy and it will get cold with lows in the upper teens.  Saturday offers a weak Clipper moving through and that will promote scattered snow showers with light accumulations of a dusting to a little more than an inch in spots by evening.  It will be colder with highs not getting out of the 20's.  Sunday will off some sunshine but be even cooler with highs in the mid and upper 20's.

We warm up briefly early next week with highs in the lower 40's Monday and showers developing after some morning sunshine.

We'll have to keep and eye with what happens with that storm Monday night and into Tuesday and a bigger and potent snow producing storm late in the week.  Stay tuned and have a great weekend!
