Brrr..... in spite of sunshine, another cold day

Arctic blast waiting in the wings

Temps will be well below normal again today in spite of plenty of sunshine.  Canadian high pressure and it's sinking air motion will scour away most of the clouds today and, with the high nearly overhead, the winds - which were so strong yesterday will be light.  In spite of all that high temps this afternoon will be challenged to get out of the 20's for highs so bundle up once again.

Overnight we will see mainly clear skies and lows again falling into the teens.  After a mostly sunny start Wednesday morning clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon as a moisture starved cold front heads our way out of Canada.  The front will promote some strong winds - but they will be from the south and southwest and that will help push afternoon highs into the mid 30's with winds gusting to 25 & 30 MPH.

The cold front will usher in another short lived cool down with highs back into the upper 20's on Thursday.  Friday and Saturday look to offer some sunshine and a gradual warm-up with highs getting into the upper 30's by Saturday afternoon in spite of clouds streaming in late in the day.

Enjoy those above normal highs (normal high at Toledo Express Airport is 32 degrees) as a serious Arctic Cold Front slides through Saturday night and Sunday - delivering scattered, light snow showers and some seriously cold air.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday high temps will likely max out in the teens!

Have a great day and don't forget your shades.
