TOLEDO -- U.S. Marshal Rodney Hartzell wants a special Christmas present this year and, if you are able to help him, you can put a little extra cash in your pocket to help pay the holiday bills.

Derrick Gilbert is a frequent flier with the U.S. Marshal and Marshal Hartzell says Gilbert has come across his desk one too many times.

Gilbert is wanted for armed robbery. A few weeks ago, Gilbert -- a self proclaimed "gangster" -- approached a car parked in east Toledo, armed with handguns. They robbed the car's occupant at gunpoint.

Marshal Hartzell is not surprised. It's something Gilbert has done before and probably will do again if he's not stopped.

"I want him," said Hartzell. "I want him in jail. That's what I want for Christmas."

If you know where Derrick Gilbert can be found, call the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED. There may be a cash reward in it for you and, if authorities are able to get a conviction. one northwest Ohio lawman will get his Christmas wish.
