When it comes to trying to get rid of a hangover, people who know swear by everything from a beer in the morning to a prickly pear smoothie. Now, the Food and Drug Administration has finally approved a hangover cure in tablet form.

"Blowfish for Hangovers" is offered in a dissolvable tablet it is kind of like an Alka-seltzer and meant to be taken the day after drinking.

"It came out of personal experience, the worst hangover is the one you didn't expect on a morning you have to do stuff," creator Brenne Haysom says. "It really came out of my own experience of wanting to go out but having to work really hard the next morning."

The two active ingredients  aren't exactly mind-blowing  aspirin and caffeine but we'll try anything when we have a hangover. It's important to note that the product claims it "helps restore mental alertness or wakefulness when experiencing fatigue or drowsiness associated with a hangover"  but doesn't say anything about pain, nausea, or the tattoo you really regret getting.

Have you ever tried this? And do you think it would work? For more information go to http://southflorida.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-blowfish-hangover-pill-20111208,0,3325044.story
