TOLEDO -- Mayor Mike Bell will release the 2013 operating budget in city council chambers Monday afternoon.
According to the mayor's office this budget will focus on public safety, recommending a new police and fire class be hired next year.
But the city says because of a loss of $14.7 Million from budget cuts and reduced tax revenues, the city will have to dip into it's capital improvements fund to balance the general fund.
Other areas of attention will focus on street and road construction. As well as renovating fire station 3 and building new fire station 12. The $32 million dollar projects will come up in another budget in December.
