LIMA, OHIO -- A crowd of 3,800 people filled the gymnasium of Lima Senior High School to hear a campaign speech from President Barack Obama. Lima was part of mulit-city tour across Ohio on Friday for Mr. Obama as he and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney remain locked in a tight battle for Ohio's 18 electoral votes. At this point in the campaign, most pundits are in agreement that the candidate who wins Ohio will win the election.
The President came to Lima armed with the news that US businesses added over 184,000 jobs in the month of October. "So we've made some real progress in the last four years but we still have more work to do," Mr. Obama said.
Many people drove from other cities across the state to see the President. Emerson Babbington attends the University of Northern Ohio. "I have never seen the President before, I am 22 years old; I voted for him 4 years ago and it was ecstatic, a great opportunity," Emerson said.
