A 14-year-old boy will spend 90 days in a juvenile detention center for accidently shooting a friend in a Wauseon home last month.

During his sentencing on Thursday, Felipe Villanueva Jr. was charged with delinquency for negligent homicide in connection to the shooting death of 13-year-old Michael Schwartz.

The boys were at another friend's home before school when the accident happened.

When Villanueva turns 16, he will also lose driving privileges for four years as part of his sentence.
