ADRIAN -- We have a shocking case out of Lenawee County.

A 17-year-old former Madison High School football player is accused of sexually assaulting team members.

Troy Burr was arraigned Tuesday on five felony counts of sexual assault.

Police say Burr and 17-year-old Rodolfo Rios sexually abused two younger members of the football team in the locker room in August or September of last year.

The superintendent of Madison Public schools went to police in January after hearing rumors of the assaults.

Burr pleaded not guilty in Lenawee County District court.  He is due in court March 19.

Burr is no longer a student at Madison.  But rios is and he's been suspended.
