TOLEDO -- Toledo police are investigating a fatal shooting in South Toledo. Around 5 o'clock this morning police received a call of shots fired at the intersection of Broadway and Western. When officers arrived they found 36-year-old David Wallerstein lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Witnesses stated the victim had been in an altercation with three Hispanic males and one of them shot him. Police have not made any arrests in this case.
