TOLEDO -- Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa will join thousands of Ohioans on Wednesday to rally to defeat Issue 2 and repeal Senate Bill 5 – the legislation that limits collective bargaining rights for public employees in Ohio.

Hoffa, a vocal opponent of S.B. 5, will attend the "We Are Ohio" rally at Teamsters Local 20 in Toledo at 5:30 p.m. Thousands of Issue 2 opponents are expected to attend the event as a groundswell of opposition has grown in anticipation of the November vote on the referendum.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters is a labor union founded in 1903 by the merger of several local and regional locals of teamsters. The union represents an array of blue-collar and professional workers in both the public and private sectors.
