TOLEDO, OH -- Early voting for the Nov. 2 election started Tuesday.

The Lucas County Early Voting Center at 1302 Washington Street saw an initial rush Tuesday morning followed by a steady flow of voters.

To cast a ballot you do not need to bring identification, but you do need to know your address and drivers license number or social security number.

"Anybody can vote early. Years ago you used to have a to have a reason, now you can vote early just because you feel like it," said Linda Howe, Director of Lucas County Board of Elections.

Of course, you also need to be registered to vote.

If you need to register or to change your address, you have until October 4th to do so. You can do this at the Early Voting Center or at your local library or Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Hours for the Lucas Co. Early Voting Center:
8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays
8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
