Spring might be kicking off on the cooler side, so why not try warming up next to a 2000 degree furnace for some artisan glass blowing.

Firenation Glass Studio and Gallery are hosting their spring open house Friday March 22 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The live demonstrations will be hosted by Matt Paskiet, the owner and artist of Firenation.

Paskiet says making glass is fun and rewarding work. "I learn something new everday that I work with glass, and my respect for it grows as well," says Paskiet.

Visitor will be able to see live demonstrations on how to blow glass to make different kinds of glass art.
