Freezing Rain & Winter Weather Advisories are in effect through noon Monday.
The wintery mix of freezing rain, sleet and even some light snow will transition to scattered showers this afternoon as highs get near 40 degrees. It will be windy as well with gusts out of the east reaching 30 mph, delivering windchills in the teens this afternoon. Bundle up!
Showers taper off this evening as a cold front rushes through the region. Temps fall into the mid 20s under mostly cloudy skies overnight.
Tuesday will be cold and windy. Under mostly cloudy skies, highs max out in the low and mid 30s with windchills again in the teens.
Spring officially arrives Wednesday morning, but it won't feel like it. In spite of some limited amounts of sunshine, we probably won't get up to the freezing mark for afternoon highs.
We remain chilly for the end of the work week and beyond with afternoon highs not getting out of the 30s into and through the weekend.
